I let the RX-8 fall out of production for a while, then I found a NEW diecast of the fine car, which has some cool ground effects already installed. Makes life easier on Bubba. The new version also has the more recent grill and headlight detail, which is nice!

Also, shaping up to be a fairly thin casting, so it will be popular!

I won't have any pictures until middle of the week, but it is "annonced" to be legal for Tim's race!

Razz

Got some pictures uploaded, and you can view them here:

The shell is thin cast except down low where it counts. Comes out of the mold at aroud 2.8 grams, and I bet you can get it down much lower pretty easily.

This one is 1:1 accurate, didn't have to butcher the hood or deck lid to get it this low.

Drives great, maybe better than the original RX-8, Zoom-cubed.

$12 with vacuum formed glass included, many colors.

They were casting a little heavier than I wanted, so I made a new mold and mostly fixed what was happening. They are now coming out right at 2.9 to 3 grams.

I'll have a selection of them on Sat. Wait till you see the color I cast for me, it is too cool for slotcars!
