MASCAR returned to Gloucester's Collective Chaos track for round 7, very familiar to most of the competitors from the regular Saturday night races, held every week. The Johnson Motor Speedway track was in great shape, and times were very quick.

The brp teammates, Tom and Jerry continued their battling for top spot in qualifying, Shawn very closely behind. The surprise of qualifying were good runs from Mr. Rookie AKA John Smith and Josh Bowman. Local racer Ray, made his MASCAR debut as did Wendy. Wendy is a commercial fisherman, and was a spectator at the HobbyTown race.

The A Main was the predicted shootout between James and Shawn...Mark had a major hit in the first segment, which bent the pickup losing some 20 laps before getting it right.
