Race morning, track opens at 7:30am. Race Tech at 11:00am, racing to follow.
Directions:
1. From south or north get to highway 17north and go over the Coleman bridge.
2. take 17north to Gloucester court house, about 12 miles.
3. take bus.17 to the right for about 1/2 mile.
4. turn right on rt 14east to Mathews, stay on this for about 16miles.
5. when it ends turn right on rt 14/198, stay on it until you come to a stop sign.
about 2 miles, you will be looking at a Hardees.
6. turn right onto rt 14 east, stay on it for about 4.5miles, you will go thru a town
called Port Haywood, it is 2 gas stations and a post office so don't blink, keep
going.
7. turn right onto rt 606, there will be a sign saying slot car race.
8. in 1/2 mile turn left onto rt 646. there will be a sign.
9. this will wind it's way thru the jungle or woods for about 3/4 of a mile.
10. you will come to a fork in the road, take rt 726 to the right, there will be a sign.
11. take this about 1/4 of a mile, at the end it will put you onto a gravel driveway, this
is my driveway, the house at the end of it on the left is mine, it is blue in color,
the shop is in the garage behind the house. There is parking back there or we
can use the next door neighbors house, please do not get off the driveways as
the land is very soggy and you will get stuck.
I will have plenty of food and drinks for all, please give me some idea of how many
of you all are planning to come.
There will be plenty of pit space and those that sell parts please bring what you
have to sell.
